Job Description:

This is a hall staff role at Chaen Zenkashoin (茶庭然花抄院), an elegant Japanese sweets cafe located inside the Shibuya Hikarie shopping complex, directly connected to Shibuya Station in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, placed through staffing company Dimple. The cafe features a refined, tranquil atmosphere inspired by the Kyoto main store, serving freshly baked wagashi confections from the in-store workshop alongside carefully brewed teas. Your duties include welcoming and seating guests, taking orders, preparing and serving drinks, and cashier operation. Prior food or beverage service experience (cafe, izakaya, restaurant or similar) is required for this position — newcomers to the industry are not accepted at this role. Weekends and public holidays are included in the shift schedule — applicants must be available for some weekend work. High school graduate or above is required. A Daimaru Matsuzakaya department store 10% shopping discount is provided as a staff benefit. Transport allowance is fully covered. Annual paid leave and regular health check-ups are provided.
