Job Description:

This is a warehouse picking role at a large kitchenware manufacturer's distribution facility in Seki, Gifu, handling knives, frying pans, and other kitchen products for a well-known brand. Tasks involve scanning barcodes on a picking list with a handheld device, locating items on warehouse shelves, and loading them onto pallets or cage trolleys — a straightforward process guided by clear lists with no specialist knowledge required. The workplace is quiet and conducive to focused independent work; 10-20 staff are stationed in the relevant section at any time, and questions are always welcome. The shift runs 09:00-18:00 with no overtime on most days; during peak periods around major holidays, early starts or up to 1 hour of overtime may be requested (optional). An advance payment system (前払い maebarai) allows wages earned to be drawn in advance up to a set limit per company rules — note this differs from daily or weekly payment. Dark-coloured (black-based) clothing is requested for work; uniform is not provided.

Wage:

1,190円 (per hour) Overtime rate (割増 warimashi): 1,488円 (base x 1.25). Overtime optional; approx. 1 hour/day during peak periods only. Monthly income example: approx. 199,920 yen (1,190 yen x 8h x 21 days) plus overtime and transport.
