Job Description:

This is a hall staff role at Zanonomi-dokoro Kasuga, a cosy standing-drink-priced seated izakaya in Konohana ward, Osaka, just 2 minutes on foot from Nishikujo Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line. Duties include seating guests, taking orders, dishwashing, and serving — after settling in, staff also prepare drinks; the atmosphere is casual and conversational, suited to those who enjoy friendly interaction with regulars. The chef-owner has a professional cooking background, and free staff meals from a rotating menu of 70+ dishes are available every shift — previous staff have called the food one of the main reasons they stay. A daily sales bonus (お小遣い okodome) of 500 yen is paid when the store hits its 70,000-yen daily target, and 1,000 yen when it hits 100,000 yen — the target was met 25 out of 30 days last month. Salary increase is also based on contribution and attitude rather than experience level. The overnight shift from 22:00 carries the statutory deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate), bringing the rate to 1,687円/hour. High school students are not eligible due to alcohol service.
