Job Description:

Work at a Japanese restaurant in Nishitenma, Kita ward, Osaka, established 26 years ago and recently renovated. Floor duties cover showing customers to their seats, serving food and drinks and handling payment, with many regular customers so the pace stays calm. Kitchen duties start with simple plating and dishwashing, moving on to cooking assistance and prep work. You can choose which of the two roles you prefer, and a senior member of staff teaches you one to one at the start. The shift falls between 16:30 and 22:00, with a minimum of 3.5 hours a day and 1 day a week. The restaurant closes on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, so weekday-only work is the pattern here. Shift requests are made weekly and adjusted around exams, school events and other commitments. Cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi) payment can be arranged, transport is covered up to 500円 a day, and hair colour, nails and piercings are free within reason.

Wage:

1,300円 (per hour) Salary increases based on ongoing evaluation. Example monthly income of 85,800円 based on 5.5 hours a day over 12 days.
