Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Kokumou Wagyu Nesshinya (黒毛和牛熱心屋), a popular wagyu beef restaurant in the Kiyomizudera tourist area of Kyoto, just steps from Yasaka Koshin-do. The restaurant is known for its wagyu burgers, sukiyaki, and torched wagyu nigiri — a food-walk-friendly spot that attracts both domestic and international tourists throughout the day. Counter-style service is the main format: taking orders, serving drinks, simple cooking tasks such as torching beef with a burner (バーナー baanaa) and plating sukiyaki, and general cleaning and tidying. The menu is straightforward with no complex cooking required, and English-speaking staff are on hand to support international guest interactions — you can serve entirely in Japanese if you prefer. A 1-month trial period applies at 1,300 yen; the standard rate of 1,350 yen or above begins after that. Shifts run approximately 09:00-18:00 or 09:30-18:30 depending on the season (summer/winter), working 4 days or more per week with 1 hour of rest included. Hair colour, nail art, piercings, and accessories are freely permitted as long as they are not excessive.
