Job Description:

This is a bakery and donut sales and cooking assistance role at a curry bread and donut counter inside Kyoto Daimaru department store, a 1-minute walk from Karasuma Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line and 2 minutes from Shijo Station on the Subway Karasuma Line. Sales duties include product display, restocking, and cashier operations; cooking duties involve filling pre-made dough with curry filling and placing it in the fryer, and mixing pre-made donut dough with fresh cream before loading into a machine — no complex cooking techniques are required. The team is mostly women in their 20s, with students and homemakers up to their 50s also active; 9 staff work weekdays and 12 on weekends, so you are never alone on the floor. Two shift options are available on a rotation basis: early (07:30-16:00) and late (12:00-20:30), each 7.5 hours actual work; preferred shift patterns (more early or more late) can be discussed. A Daimaru Matsuzakaya 10% shopping discount is included, along with full transportation coverage and comprehensive social insurance. Prior sales experience of any kind is required; high school graduate or above.

Wage:
