Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Toridan (とりだん) Juso, a popular yakitori izakaya just 2 minutes walk from Juso Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line in Osaka's Yodogawa ward. Hall duties include seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling payment, and clearing tables; kitchen duties cover simple cooking assistance, plating, and dishwashing — beginners start with plating and recipes before moving on to grilling yakitori as they gain confidence. Two shift blocks are available: evening (17:00-22:00) and late night (22:00-01:00), with a minimum of 4 hours per shift and 2 days per week — flexible enough for students, dual-job workers, or those with varied schedules. A 3-month training period at 1,200 yen applies (shortcut possible via a simple test), after which the standard rate of 1,300 yen begins. The late-night supplement (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies from 22:00, bringing the effective rate to 1,625 yen or above. Pay can be received by hand in cash (手渡し tewatashi), free staff meals are provided — home-cooked dishes like oyakodon and kamameshi — and year-end and New Year are fixed holidays.
