Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Sakaizakara Edogawabashi Ichirizuka (酒菜膳江戸川橋いちりづか), a beloved local izakaya just 2 minutes walk from Edogawabashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line in Bunkyo ward. The restaurant is popular with regulars for its relaxed, homely atmosphere — polite, calm customers are the norm, making it a comfortable first workplace for those new to food service. Hall duties include seating guests, taking orders, making drinks, and clearing tables (cashier training comes once you are comfortable); kitchen duties cover plating and simple cooking assistance. Two blocks of shifts are available: lunch (10:00-15:00) and dinner (17:00-23:30), with a minimum of 4 hours per shift and 1 day per week — zero-day weeks are possible when needed. A late-night supplement (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies from 22:00, raising the effective rate to 1,600 yen or above for those hours. Wages are paid by hand in cash (手渡し tewatashi), free staff meals are provided daily, and hair colour, nail art, and piercings are all welcome within a reasonable standard.
