Job Description:
Work as reception staff at a high-end Italian restaurant in Ginza, Chuo ward, Tokyo. Duties cover greeting and seeing off guests, cloakroom work, handling reservation enquiries by phone and web, entering receipts and register work. The restaurant combines Italian cooking with Japanese ingredients in a luxurious but relaxed setting, so service is refined yet warm. Almost all guests at both lunch and dinner have booked in advance, which keeps the pace calm. Many guests come from overseas, so there are plenty of chances to use English and build language skills. The shift runs 11:30 to 21:00 with 8 hours of work and a 90 minute break, 5 days a week including Saturdays and public holidays. Mondays and Sundays are closed, and there are new year and summer holidays. Transport costs are fully covered, a 10 percent Daimaru Matsuzakaya shopping discount applies, and the restaurant is a 4 minute walk from Shimbashi Station.
