Job Description:
Work at a premium meat specialty shop inside Kyoto Takashimaya department store in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto, selling carefully selected wagyu beef including Matsusaka and black Kuroge varieties and assisting with simple food preparation. Duties include kneading ground meat for hamburger and roast beef products, selling meat by weight at the counter, and handling cashier transactions — a mix of sales and kitchen work that suits those who want more variety than a single-task role. Basic home-cooking-level food experience is sufficient; some prior sales, customer service, or cashier experience is an advantage. The worksite is directly connected to Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station and 5 minutes walk from Gion-Shijo Station, with shifts available across a range of start times between 09:00 and 11:00. Staff aged 50 and above are actively working in this role.
