Job Description:

Work as hall or kitchen staff at Fugu Kujira, a specialty restaurant serving whale and tiger puffer fish (fugu) cuisine in Namba, Osaka, just 2 minutes walk from Kintetsu Nippombashi Station. Hall duties include taking orders and serving dishes; kitchen duties cover cooking assistance for fugu dishes, dishwashing, and related prep — all starting with simple tasks and building gradually with support from experienced staff. The team is predominantly young (university students and 20s) and the atmosphere is lively and sociable, with monthly staff meals featuring fugu and crab dishes and annual BBQ events. Cash-in-hand (手渡し tewatashi) and daily payment (日払い hibarai) are both available (conditions apply). Foreign nationals are welcome; applicants whose native language is not Japanese must hold JLPT N2 or above (equivalent to the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 2).
