Duties include patrolling and cleaning toilets throughout the building, managing smoking rooms (including replacing ashtrays), and replenishing consumables such as paper supplies. The 18:00–23:00 shift covers evening and part of the late-night window; the final hour (22:00–23:00) attracts a statutory late-night premium of 1,688 yen/hour. The entire building is air-conditioned year-round and involves walking circuits, which is popular with those looking to stay active while working.
