Job Description:
Work as a hall staff member at Kyoto Gion Kayonoya (京都祇園茅乃舎), a Japanese fine dining restaurant (和食レストラン washoku-resutoran) that opened in June 2026 in the Gion district of Kyoto, 5 minutes from Gion-Shijo Station. Duties include customer seating and service, food and drink delivery (配膳 haizen), table clearing, cashier, and store cleaning -- no kitchen or cooking duties are involved. Two shift bands are available: an early shift (11:30-15:00, 5.5 hours, no break) and a late shift (18:00-22:00, 4 hours, no break), working 2 to 3 days per week including weekends and public holidays; early shift availability is especially welcome. Prior food and beverage experience (cafe, fast food, restaurant, or similar) is required. Note: this is a day-hire派遣 (日雇い派遣 hiyatoi-haken) position. Applicants must meet at least one of the following: household income of 5 million yen or more, daytime student status, or age 60 or above. A Daimaru Matsuzakaya department store shopping discount (大丸松坂屋百貨店 10% OFF) is included as a staff benefit. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available through Dimple's payment system.
