Job Description:

Work at Izakaya Tarusho (居酒屋樽正), a family-run izakaya in Osaka's Umeda area with 60 years of history, 5 minutes from Nakazakicho Station -- a warm, homely workplace run by a female owner known for her approachable personality. Hall staff handle customer seating, hand-written order taking (no tablet needed), food and drink service (配膳 haizen), and simple drink preparation; kitchen staff assist with cooking and drink-making -- no cashier duties are required. Most customers are loyal regulars who are warm and patient with new starters, making this a low-pressure environment for those without experience. Shifts run within a 17:00 to 23:00 window; from 1 hour per day and 1 day per week, with day and time fully negotiable; the store closes at 23:00 so last trains are never an issue. Working after 22:00 earns a statutory 25% deep-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate). Pay is cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi); free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided. Sundays and public holidays are fixed days off -- rare for an izakaya.

Wage:

1,250円 (per hour) Post-trial rate (after approx. 100 hours): 1,400円/hr. Deep-night allowance after 22:00: 25% premium applies. Annual salary increase available.
