Job Description:
This is a karaoke venue staff role across four Jan-Kara locations in the Kawaramachi area of Kyoto, operated by TOAI Group — one of the largest karaoke chains in the Kansai region. Positions include front desk (room guidance, self-service machine support), kitchen (drink and food preparation, dishwashing), and floor (room setup, food and drink delivery to rooms). Over 90% of current staff started with no experience; training is done side by side at your own pace with no solo work until you are ready. Shifts run within a 07:00 to 06:30 window with a minimum of 5 hours per day and at least 3 days per week; late-night shifts from 22:00 earn a 25% statutory premium. Advance payment (前払い maebarai) is available from as early as the next day via convenience store ATM withdrawal, with no prior application needed (up to 50% of earned wages).
