Job Description:

This is a dinner kitchen role at Jozo UCHIYAMADA, a hidden-gem izakaya in the basement of a building in Fukushima-ku, Osaka — a TV-featured local favourite known for its kuwa-yaki bites, seasonal Japanese cuisine, and sake sommelier-curated nihonshu selection. You will handle food preparation, simple cooking, and plating as part of the kitchen team during evening service (18:00-22:00). A training period of up to 1 month applies at 1,177 yen per hour, rising to 1,350 yen or above after that (experience can shorten the period). Pay is monthly with cash-in-hand (手渡し tewatashi) available. Free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided every shift. The restaurant is completely non-smoking. Closed Sundays. Hair, nails, and piercings permitted within reasonable limits. No resume required.
