Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Uotami Akihabara Chuo-dori store, a popular izakaya chain restaurant on the 7th floor of a building in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, a 5-minute walk from Akihabara Station. Hall staff handle seating guests, serving food and drinks, table reset, and cashier duties; orders are placed by customers via tablet or QR code, so verbal order-taking is minimal and the pressure of listening carefully is removed. Kitchen staff start with dishwashing and simple plating, then move on to prep and basic cooking assistance — knife skills are taught from scratch with no prior experience needed. The team is primarily students and people in their 20s, making it easy to make friends quickly in a lively environment. Advance payment (前払い maebarai) is available and wages are calculated to the minute. Nails and piercings are permitted for hall staff under the store's rules. Hair colour and style are free as long as you look clean and presentable. A late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00. Minimum contract period of 3 months.
