Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Mekiki no Ginji Nakano Kitaguchi Ekimae Honten, an izakaya on the 1st and 2nd floors of Sawassen Building, a 3-minute walk from Nakano Station on the JR Chuo Line. Hall staff guide guests to seats, serve food and drinks, handle payments, and prepare simple drinks such as beer — customer orders are placed via tablet or QR self-order system. Kitchen staff start with dishwashing and simple plating, then progress to basic prep and cooking assistance with knife skills taught from scratch. The full shift window runs 12:00-03:00 (overnight); a lunchtime-only slot (12:00-15:00) is also available, both with a minimum of 3 hours per day and 1 day per week. Pay is calculated to the minute, advance payment (前払い maebarai) is available, and a deep-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00 (statutory 1.25x). Staff meals are available at 50% off on working days. High school students are not eligible.
