Job Description:
Hall and kitchen work at Keika, a small independent Chinese restaurant in Ikoma. Hall duties cover showing customers to their seats, taking orders and serving food and drinks. Kitchen duties are very simple cooking assistance, plating and washing up. Nine staff work here, four homemakers and five students or freeters, and the manager is easy to talk to, so it suits people with no experience. Free staff meals (まかない makanai) of the restaurant's own Chinese food are provided. Shifts run from 2 days a week within 09:30 to 22:30, with common patterns of 10:00 to 15:00, 17:00 to 22:00, or a full day. People who can work weekday evenings or one weekend day are especially welcome. Wages are paid in cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi) on the 10th of the following month, and cycle, motorbike and car commuting are all allowed.
Wage:
1,100円~1,200円 (per hour)
Trial period is paid at 1,060円 per hour. Pay raises based on ability, with some staff moving up within a month. Busy season allowance is paid during Obon and New Year.
