Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Kirakuen, a long-established yakiniku (焼肉 yakiniku) restaurant just 1 minute from Tsuruhashi Station in Tennoji-ku, Osaka, popular with regulars and celebrities alike. Hall work includes seating customers, order-taking, serving food and drinks, and — uniquely — explaining the restaurant's signature way to eat their famous salted tongue: "squeeze lemon, top with special cream garlic, grill one side only." Kitchen work starts with simple prep and plating of meat and vegetables; no cooking experience is needed. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided — 1 meal on weekday shifts and 2 meals on Saturday/Sunday/holiday shifts — and requests are welcome. Weekday shifts run 15:00-23:00; weekend and holiday shifts run 11:00-23:00, with Thursdays fixed off. Weekend availability is especially welcome and leads to priority scheduling. Salary is paid cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi). Hair colour, style, beard, piercings, and necklaces are all permitted. High school students cannot apply.

Wage:

1,240円 (per hour) Salary increases (昇給 shokyu) available. Transportation allowance up to 5,000 yen per month.
