Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen role at Porco Blu, a popular pork shabu-shabu (豚しゃぶ shabu-shabu) specialist restaurant in Kitakami City, Iwate, 8 minutes walk from Kitakami Station. Hall duties include serving food and drinks, washing up, handling payments, preparing for banquets, and cleaning; kitchen duties include simple cooking, plating, basic knife work, mise-en-place (仕込み shikomi), stock ordering, and cleaning — kitchen tasks are suitable for anyone comfortable with everyday home cooking. Morning shifts, when available, also involve shopping for ingredients, prep work, and administrative tasks. The shop seats 14 in total (6 counter and 8 table seats) with a relaxed, semi-private atmosphere that attracts regulars ranging from families to solo diners — service is unhurried and attentive rather than rushed. The standard shift window runs from 15:00 to 00:00; you choose any block of at least 3 hours within that window on as few as 1 day per week, with shifts submitted every 1 to 2 weeks. Hours worked from 22:00 attract a 25% late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate). Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available, and an annual bonus (賞与 shouyo) is paid once per year subject to business results.
