Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Wakashachiya (若鯱家), a well-known restaurant chain famous for its Nagoya-style curry udon, located inside the MEGA Don Quijote UNY shopping mall in Minokamo City, Gifu. Hall staff greet and seat guests, take orders, and serve food, while kitchen staff handle food prep and plating duties; dishwashing is also part of the kitchen role. You must be able to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays — applicants who can only work weekdays cannot be accommodated. No experience or qualifications are needed, and training (研修 kenshuu) is provided from the start. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at a discounted price — the famous curry udon can be eaten for 320 yen on working days. A uniform (制服 seifuku) is provided with a refundable deposit of 3,000 yen returned when you leave. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is partially covered up to 600 yen per day, including for those commuting on foot or by bicycle (100 yen provided). A friend referral bonus of 10,000 yen in gift vouchers is available (subject to conditions). Hair colour and style are free.

Wage:

1,121円 (per hour) Late-night rate: 1,402円 (22:00 onwards). Year-end and New Year period (30 Dec - 3 Jan): additional 100円 per hour on top of weekend rate. Salary increase: twice yearly (average 10-20円 per review, assessed from 1 year of employment).
