Job Description:
This is a banquet hall and kitchen staff role at a three-star hotel directly connected to JR Amagasaki Station in Amagasaki City, Hyogo, placed through staffing company Shinshoiwa. Hall staff serve food and drinks to banquet tables, starting alongside a senior colleague before gradually taking on multiple tables independently; the role is ideal for building hospitality and hotel service skills. Kitchen staff handle ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, and food ordering for Western-style course and banquet menus, with experienced staff eventually taking on menu development, cost calculation, and team guidance. Hall staff start at 1,300円 with an automatic increase to 1,350円 after 50 hours worked, and a further increase to 1,400円 after another 50 hours — no evaluation required, the rise is automatic. Kitchen staff with 3 or more years of restaurant or hotel cooking experience start at 1,400円. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) of 700 yen per day is provided, including for those commuting on foot or by bicycle. A staff canteen and break room are on-site with TV and food and drink permitted. A uniform is partially provided, and training (研修 kenshuu) is thorough from day one.
