Job Description:
Clean guest rooms and public bathing areas at Tosens Goshobou, the oldest inn in Arima Onsen — founded in 1191 and designated a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property, set in a rare surviving wooden historic building. Duties include room cleaning, futon and bed preparation (ベッドメイキング beddo-meikingu), vacuuming and mopping, toilet and bathroom cleaning, and cleaning the large communal bath (大浴場 daiyokujou). Note that the inn has staircases only (no lifts), so carrying items between floors requires some physical effort. Shifts run daytime only — 09:30 to 13:30 or 10:00 to 14:00 — just 4 hours per day with no overtime, ideal for weekday mornings. Weekday-only and weekend-only schedules are both welcome from 2 days a week. A 2-month trial period applies at a slightly reduced rate of 1,176 yen/hour before moving to the standard rate. Nail art is permitted with gloves worn during cleaning.
