Job Description:
This is a cafe and sales staff role at Pierre Hermé Paris (ピエールエルメ パリ), the renowned French luxury patisserie, located inside Diaymall Osaka near Osaka and Umeda stations in Kita Ward, Osaka, placed through staffing company Dimple. Your duties include selling macarons and other premium sweets, serving cafe menu items at the counter, operating the register, restocking and displaying products, wrapping gifts, handling deliveries, and assisting with madeleine and financier preparation in the kitchen. The store is a compact, intimate space with a small counter seating area — a calm, refined environment rather than a high-volume chain café. Prior customer service or hospitality experience of any kind is required; food service experience is an advantage but kitchen or hall experience specifically is not needed — a love of sweets and café culture is a great asset here. Weekends and public holidays are included in the shift schedule; applicants must be available for some weekend work. High school graduate or above is required. A Daimaru Matsuzakaya department store 10% shopping discount is provided as a staff benefit. Transport allowance is fully covered.
