Job Description:
This is a kitchen staff job at an izakaya restaurant, helping with food plating, simple prep and cooking support. The restaurant is on the 6th floor of AEON Mall Okayama, about 5 minutes walk from Okayama Ekimae Station, and also serves overseas customers. You start with easy tasks like plating and dishwashing, then gradually learn knife skills and cooking techniques. A manual and senior staff support you, and there is 40 hours of training (研修 kenshuu), so no cooking experience is needed. Shifts are flexible with a shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei), from 1 day a week and 3 hours a day, submitted weekly. Weekend-only and weekday-only schedules are both possible. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for only 200円, and daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) are available. Late-night work after 22:00 is for applicants aged 18 and over only.
Wage:
1,150円～ (per hour)
High school students: 1,104円～ per hour. Salary increase of about 10円 to 30円 per step, can be applied for once a month (5-level skill evaluation system). Annual outstanding staff award.
