Job Description:
This role covers both hall and kitchen work at Diamond Steak (ダイヤモンドステーキ), a steak restaurant located on the 6th floor of Aeon Mall Okayama. Hall staff welcome and seat customers, serve food and drinks, and handle payment at the register (レジ reji); all ordering is done via a fully touchscreen panel system. Kitchen staff assist with basic cooking preparation, plate finished dishes, and manage washing duties at the dish station (洗い場 araiba). Shifts run within a 09:00 to 22:00 window on a shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei), with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and as few as 1 day per week. Weekend-only, weekday-only, morning-only, and afternoon-only patterns are all accepted, making this well suited for parents, students, and those balancing household schedules. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available, and a flat 340-yen meal subsidy (まかない makanai) applies per shift. Training (研修 kenshuu) is provided with a senior colleague working alongside you until you are comfortable. A minimum commitment of 3 months is required, with the possibility of continuing long-term.
