Job Description:
This role covers both hall and kitchen work at Gokoku (五穀), a Japanese family restaurant chain serving Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine (和洋中), located on the 1st floor of Aeon Mall Tsuyama. Each customer is served individual clay-pot rice (一人一釜 hitori-ichi-kama), giving the restaurant a distinctive homestyle atmosphere that is lively and team-oriented. Hall staff (ホールスタッフ hooru-sutaffu) handle customer reception and seating, serve food and drinks, and process payment at the register (レジ reji). Kitchen staff (キッチンスタッフ kicchin-sutaffu) support basic cooking preparation, plate finished dishes, and manage the dish station (洗い場 araiba). Shifts run within a 09:00 to 22:00 window on a shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei), with a minimum of 3 hours per shift; weekend-only and weekday-only patterns are both accepted. A late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% above the base rate applies for any hours worked after 22:00. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available, and a flat 340-yen meal subsidy (まかない makanai) applies per shift. Training (研修 kenshuu) is provided with a senior colleague working alongside you until you are comfortable; beginners may start in the kitchen if preferred.
