Job Description:

Work as a cooking and sales staff member at a karaage (唐揚げ karaage) specialist shop inside Lazona Kawasaki Plaza, directly connected to the west exit of JR Kawasaki Station in Kanagawa. The shop originates from Obihiro, Hokkaido — its signature style is juicy chicken wrapped in skin and deep-fried without garlic or ginger, drawing a loyal regular customer base. Duties include food preparation and cooking, customer-facing sales at the counter, and store cleaning. This is a fixed-term placement running from September 2026 to 13 April 2027 — a limited pop-up presence at the Lazona shopping complex. Shifts run between 09:00 and 22:00 in 8-hour blocks via a shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) including weekends and public holidays, from 2 days a week. High school graduates or above are required; some prior food service or cooking experience is welcomed but not essential. A 10% shopping discount at Daimaru Matsuzakaya department stores is included as a staff benefit.
