Job Description:
This is a hall staff role at Tsuruga Honten (つるが本店), a long-established Japanese cuisine restaurant in Hiroshima's Naka ward, just 3 minutes walk from Ebisu-cho Station on the Hiroshima Electric Railway. The restaurant serves banquet and kaiseki meals mainly to corporate clients, regulars, and VIP guests — almost all seating is in private rooms, and the clientele is calm and well-mannered, so you will not encounter rowdy customers. New staff start with drink preparation and table clearing, gradually moving toward accompanying senior staff on service, learning course menus, and eventually taking orders independently — customer-facing duties typically begin around 6 months after joining. Shifts run within the 17:00-23:00 window with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and at least 2 days per week; the store is closed on Sundays, public holidays, Golden Week, Obon, and New Year, so those days are always free. A late-night supplement (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00, bringing the effective rate to 1,563 yen or above for that period. A joining bonus (入社祝い金 nyuusha-iwaikin) of 10,000 yen is paid after 1 month and a further 10,000 yen after 3 months — 20,000 yen in total. Transportation allowance of 400 yen per working day is paid regardless of how you commute.
