Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Steak no Don (ステーキのどん) Higashi-Omiya, a popular steak and family restaurant in Saitama city's Minuma ward, about 8 minutes walk from Higashi-Omiya Station or 2 minutes from the Higashi-Omiya 5-chome bus stop. Hall duties include seating guests, taking orders, and serving food; kitchen duties cover dishwashing and vegetable plating — tasks are introduced gradually so beginners can ease in without pressure. A 25-hour training period applies at the same hourly rate, and senior staff and the store manager are consistently on hand to support new starters. Shifts run within the 09:30-00:30 window (crossing midnight) with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and as few as 1 day per week; even zero-day weeks can be arranged during exam periods or busy personal schedules. A late-night supplement (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies from 22:00, raising the rate to 1,438 yen or above. An advance pay system (前払い maebarai) lets you receive earned wages before the regular pay date when you need them. Staff meals are available at 50% off all menu items during shifts — including steak and shabu-shabu. High school students and those under 18 are restricted to shifts ending by 21:30.
