Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Mutenka Kura Sushi Koshigaya Lake Town, a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant a 10-minute walk from Koshigaya Lake Town Station on the JR Musashino Line. Four positions are available: floor (hall service and cashier), backyard (neta and shari prep, tempura and udon cooking), nigiri making, and gunkan/aburi making — position is assigned based on preference and aptitude. Ordering and payment are handled by touchscreen and automated systems, reducing the complexity of customer interactions and making the role easy for first-time workers to learn. Weekend and public holiday shifts pay an extra 50 yen per hour; deep-night shifts from 22:00 attract a 25% premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate). A 10% staff discount (みんな割) applies at all Kura Sushi locations from day one, rising to 20% after 7 months; family and friends can use it too. High school students may work until 22:00 only; shifts from 22:00 onwards are for those aged 18 and over under Japanese labour law.

Wage:

1,180円 (per hour) Weekend and public holiday premium: +50円/hour (1,230円 base on those days). Deep-night rate (22:00 onwards, statutory 1.25x): 1,475円 weekday / 1,538円 weekend maximum. Training period (50 hours): 1,141円. Advance payment available (規定あり). Salary increase available.
