Job Description:
Hall and kitchen support work at Yakiniku Jinsei Taro-chan, a stylish grilled meat restaurant in Jiyugaoka. Duties are greeting and seating customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling payment at the register, clearing tables and light cleaning. Customers are mainly in their late twenties to fifties, so the atmosphere stays calm rather than hectic. No specialist knowledge or experience is needed and you start with simple tasks, taught from scratch by friendly senior staff. The shift runs from 16:00 to 00:00 and you can work from one day a week and three hours a day, with no overtime. Shift requests are self-declared, so exam periods, club trips and family commitments can all be worked around, and weekend-only patterns are fine. Wages are paid in cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi) and hours from 22:00 carry a 25 percent late-night premium taking the rate to 1,625 yen. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided, hair style, hair colour, nails, piercings and beards are all free, and the team runs bowling, barbecue and summer festival events each year.
