Job Description:
Hall work at Kyoto Maromaro, a creative Japanese dining restaurant one minute from Ebisu Station. The restaurant is known for its golden oden, which has featured on television, and the interior blends Japanese and Western styles. Hall duties are serving dishes and, once you have settled in, making cocktails at the bar counter with its 300-plus liqueurs. The owner is a former bartender and teaches cocktail making directly, so this suits anyone wanting to build bar skills. Training is one-to-one from the manager and senior staff, including tasting the dishes to learn the flavours and ingredients, and the training hours are paid. The shift is 17:00 to 23:30 and you can work from one day a week and three hours a day, with rosters submitted monthly. Wages can be paid in cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi), starting at 1,350 yen during training and rising to 1,400 yen. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid in full, staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided, a uniform (制服 seifuku) is loaned, and hair colour and nails are free.
