Job Description:
Hall and kitchen work at Uo to Sake Jukusei-gyo Kaido, a newly opened izakaya five minutes from Kyoto Station. Duties include serving, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, clearing tables and plating dishes. Most staff started with no experience, and senior staff on the same shift teach you patiently every day alongside formal training (研修 kenshuu). Free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided. Shifts run between 15:00 and 01:00, from 1 day a week and 2 hours a day, submitted monthly. The owner is flexible about exam periods, trips home and holidays, and you can even drop to zero days in a given week. A rank system means your pay rises as you learn every part of the job and take on instruction and store management. Hair colour, hairstyle, nails, piercings and beards are all free.
Wage:
1,170円~1,463円 (per hour) Shifts from 22:00 are paid at 25 percent above the base rate, giving 1,463円 per hour. A training period rate applies at the start. Pay raises through a rank system as you master all duties. Promotion to full-time employee is available.
