Job Description:

This is a hotel room cleaning and bed-making role at Smart Place Inn Kyoto Nijo-jo Horikawa, a stylishly designed hotel near Nijo Castle that has won the Good Design Award, attracting a strong international clientele. Work involves bed-making (ベッドメイク beddo-meiku) and keeping rooms clean and tidy — the hotel is relatively new so the focus is maintaining cleanliness rather than heavy scrubbing. Shifts run 11:00-15:00, allowing you to start the morning at home and finish in time for afternoon plans, a second job, or family duties. Hair colour, piercings, nails, beard, and accessories are all unrestricted — unusually relaxed for the hotel industry. The workplace culture encourages staff to raise improvement ideas directly with management, and the team is described as low-pressure and supportive. English ability is not required.

Wage:

1,170円 (per hour) Salary increases available. Training period (120 hours): same rate.
