Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Marusen Soba-ten, a long-established soba restaurant in Koshigaya City, Saitama, a 5-minute walk from Gamo Station. Hall duties include guiding and seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, table setting, and clearing up. Kitchen duties include cooking assistance, simple plating, and general support — the owner handles main cooking so kitchen work is straightforward. The restaurant is open 10:00 to 19:00, with a minimum of 2 hours per shift and 1 day per week. Weekend shifts are particularly welcome and those who can commit to Saturdays and Sundays will be given priority. Cash-in-hand payment (手渡し tewatashi) is available. A one-month trial period applies at the same rate — 1,200 yen from day one. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available subject to conditions. The restaurant closes every Tuesday, as well as for summer holidays and year-end and New Year holidays. Hair style is freely permitted. Car, motorbike, and bicycle commuting are welcome with free on-site parking.
