Job Description:

This is a company cafeteria kitchen and serving staff role in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka, placed through Hot Staff Shizuoka (株式会社ホットスタッフ静岡) on a short-term contract through to the end of September. The worksite is a large corporate canteen run by a hotel and hospital catering company, serving around seven rotating menu items per day to office employees. Main duties are plating and handing dishes to customers, dishwashing using commercial washing and drying machines, and preparing ingredients for the following day — including vegetable cutting and equipment setup. Some cooking is involved: frying and stir-frying main dishes, with temperature checks logged on a record sheet; this is less frequent than the plating and cleaning tasks. The heaviest item handled is a 5 kg bag of rice (up to four bags for cooking), though these can be moved one at a time. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available in the canteen for 200円 per meal; full cook's kit including coat, trousers, hair cap, apron, and footwear is provided at no cost. An advance payment system (前払い maebarai) is available, as well as daily and weekly pay options — all subject to company guidelines. Hair colour is freely allowed within guidelines; no resume is required and immediate start is possible.

Wage:
