Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Marugame Seimen Colorful Town Gifu, a popular udon chain (うどん屋 udon-ya) located on the first floor of a large shopping complex. The shift window runs 08:00 to 18:00, making this a daytime-only position well suited to those needing to be home by evening. Kitchen duties include boiling and plating udon to order, preparing tempura and onigiri to recipe, dishwashing using an industrial machine, and restocking serving plates and trays during busy periods. Hall duties include handing orders over the counter with brief customer care, register operation, tray collection, and keeping the dining area and cooking stations clean. No experience is required -- step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) and a full task manual are provided, and beginners are actively welcomed. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at 120 yen per meal up to 800 yen worth of food, and a family canteen card provides up to 10,000 yen per month for employees with children aged 15 and under. Transport allowance is paid up to 50,000 yen per month; car and motorbike commuting are permitted with fuel costs reimbursed within company guidelines. A minimum contract of 3 months is expected, with shift days and hours negotiable on a weekly basis.
