Job Description:

This is a cooking assistant (調理補助 chouri-hojo) role in the nutrition department of a medical and care facility group in Saeki-ku, Hiroshima City, supporting meal preparation and food service for patients including those requiring modified texture diets. Tasks include food preparation such as cutting vegetables and preparing minced or soft meals (刻み食 kizamishoku) for patients with swallowing difficulties, plating cooked dishes as directed by the chef, loading finished meals onto delivery trolleys, washing dishes using a machine, and cleaning the kitchen. No heavy lifting and no performance quotas - the role is light-duty and beginners are fully supported with on-the-job guidance throughout. Two shift options are available: a full day shift (8:30-17:30 with 60-minute break) or a half-day afternoon shift (12:30-17:30) - choose whichever suits your schedule. Work is available from 4 days per week, making it compatible with a second job (Wワーク daburu waaku) or working within a dependent spouse allowance (扶養内 fuyou-nai).
