Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at a Japanese dining (和食 washoku) restaurant in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, 1 minute walk from Shijo Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line - a hybrid venue serving authentic buckwheat soba (十割そば juwari-soba) at lunch and creative Kyoto-ingredient izakaya dishes at dinner. Hall tasks include seating guests, taking orders, serving dishes, and cashier operation; kitchen tasks include plating and cooking assistance. Customers range from local regulars to tourists, and while foreign language skills are not required, those with language ability are welcome to use it. This is a temp-to-hire (紹介予定派遣 shoukai-yotei-haken) position; after a minimum 6-month dispatch period, direct employment (正社員 seishain) with a monthly salary of 210,000 yen+ is possible by mutual agreement. Shifts run 5 days per week within a window covering lunchtime through to evening (11:00-20:00 or 14:00-22:00 as examples); 8 hours actual work with a 60-minute break. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available through Dimple. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is fully covered. Daimaru Matsuzakaya group shopping discount of 10% is provided. High school graduate or above required.

Wage:

1,400円 (per hour) Post-direct-hire monthly salary: 210,000 yen+ with salary increase and bonus. Transport allowance fully covered throughout dispatch and post-hire periods.
