Job Description:

This is a retail sales role at a coffee capsule and machine specialist counter inside JR Isetan Kyoto, directly connected to Kyoto Station, selling premium coffee capsules, coffee makers, and matching accessories such as cups, trays, and dispensers. Tasks include welcoming customers with a sample coffee offer, guiding them through the product range, making tailored recommendations (approximately 10 minutes for capsule purchases, 30 minutes for machine consultations), gift-wrapping purchases, and cashier operation. The customer base spans ages 20-70, with many regulars who return specifically for personalised recommendations - making this a rewarding role for those who enjoy building rapport through careful, unhurried service. A team of 3 works each shift; the store manager and senior staff provide full support while you learn the extensive product range. Shifts run 5 days per week on a rotating schedule within 09:15-17:15 or 12:30-20:30; 7.5 hours actual work with a 60-minute break. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) available through Dimple.
