Job Description:
Work as a wagashi (和菓子 wagashi) sales staff member at a traditional Japanese confectionery shop inside S-PAL Sendai, directly connected to Sendai Station. The shop carries year-round products such as premium okaki rice crackers, kuri-monaka (chestnut-filled wafers), and mame-daifuku (bean rice cakes), as well as seasonal items and limited-edition gift sets for occasions such as Valentine's Day and Christmas. Duties include customer service (接客 settai), register operation (レジ reji), gift wrapping (包装 housou), noshi (熨斗 noshi) preparation, delivery coordination, and stock management. Shifts rotate across morning, midday, and late-afternoon slots within operating hours; the schedule includes weekends and public holidays. Some previous sales experience is required; those returning after a career gap are welcome. Full transport allowance (交通費全額支給 koutsuuhi-zengaku-shikyu) paid. No resume required.
Wage:
1,350円 (per hour)
Maximum rate: 1,400円/hour. Monthly income example: 1,400円 x 7h x 21 days = approx. 206,000円 + full transport allowance.
