Job Description:
Work as a room-making staff member at Hotel Next in central Sendai's Tatemachi area, cleaning guest rooms and preparing beds between stays. Duties include room cleaning, bed making (ベッドメイキング beddo-meikingu), bathroom cleaning, and replenishing amenities — skills from everyday home cleaning transfer directly to this role. Senior staff and experienced colleagues work alongside new starters even after initial training (研修 kenshuu) ends, so you are never left to figure things out alone. Those who can also handle front desk (フロント furonto) duties — check-in and check-out, PC data entry, and document management — are especially welcome; front desk shifts run around the clock including overnight. Shifts for room cleaning run between 10:00 and 22:00 in blocks of 4 to 8 hours, with no overtime. Weekend and public holiday shifts earn an additional 50 yen per hour (1,200 yen/hour). Applicants whose first language is not Japanese should have conversational Japanese ability equivalent to JLPT N3 or above, as the role involves customer-facing and written communication in Japanese.
