Job Description:

Work as hall staff at Shakotan Ryori Fujizushi Otaru, a well-established sushi restaurant with 25 years of history in Otaru, specialising in fresh seafood from the Shakotan Peninsula waters of Hokkaido. Duties include guiding customers to their seats, serving food and drinks with a smile, clearing and setting tables, handling the cashier (操作 sousou is simple), and general store cleaning. The restaurant has a warm team atmosphere — senior staff stay close to guide new starters, and questions are always welcomed. Shifts run between 10:00 and 20:00 via a shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) with three patterns available: full-day, lunchtime, or after-school evening slots. Staff meals (まかない makanai) and a 10% employee food discount are both available. A minimum contract period of 3 months applies — both short-term and long-term applicants are welcome.

Wage:

1,400円 (per hour) Student rate: 1,160 yen/hour (rising to 1,200 yen/hour in the income examples given). Salary increase (昇給 shoukyuu) based on experience and ability.
