Job Description:

This is a dispatch (派遣社員 haken-shain) cleaning role inside New Chitose Airport (新千歳空港), one of Japan's busiest international airports, located directly connected to Shin-Chitose Airport Station on the JR Chitose Line in Hokkaido. Duties include mopping floors and back-of-house areas, patrolling and cleaning toilets, wiping down glass surfaces and handrails, and collecting and replacing bin bags throughout the terminal. The goal is to keep the airport clean and comfortable for the large volume of domestic and international travellers passing through every day. No special skills or qualifications are needed; the work is a natural extension of everyday household cleaning and full on-site support is provided from the start. The shift runs 06:30 to 15:30 with 8 hours of actual work and a 1-hour break; there is no overtime, making the schedule easy to plan around. Two days off per week on a shift rota (週休二日制 shukyu-nitsuyousei); a minimum commitment of 3 months is required with stable long-term employment intended. An advance payment system (前払い maebarai) is available within company guidelines; social insurance is fully covered and paid leave accrues after 6 months of service. Uniform is provided free of charge; women in their 20s to 50s make up a large part of the current team.
