Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Sushiro (スシロー) in Midori, Gunma, located inside Across Plaza Kasakake shopping centre. Order and dishwashing processes are heavily automated — sushi rice is shaped by machine, plates are tracked by a counting system, and much of the in-restaurant flow runs efficiently without manual effort — so the key contribution is friendly customer interaction and attentive service. Hall duties include guiding customers to seats, serving drinks, and handling payment; kitchen duties include washing dishes, preparing and assembling sushi, and rice cooking and prep work. A 60-hour training period (研修 kenshuu) applies at a slightly lower rate of 1,063 yen before moving to the standard rate of 1,100 yen or above. Weekend and public holiday shifts earn an extra 50 yen per hour on top of the base rate. Shifts run within the 09:00-23:30 window with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and 2 days per week; the schedule is submitted weekly so you can adjust around school or personal plans easily. An advance pay system (給与前払い kyuuyo-maebara) lets you access earned wages before the regular pay date, subject to conditions. High school students and those under 18 are restricted to shifts ending by 22:00.

Wage:

1,063円 (per hour) Standard rate after training (60 hours): 1,100 yen or above. Weekend and public holiday supplement: +50 yen/hour. Late-night rate from 22:00: 1,375 yen or above (×1.25 of post-training base). Salary increase system in place.
