Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Shinsen (神仙) ramen restaurant in Kurashiki, Okayama, a long-established ramen chain operated by Withlink Co. Hall duties include seating guests, serving completed dishes, handling payment, clearing tables, and cleaning the dining area; kitchen duties include food preparation, cooking from a manual, dishwashing, and cleaning. New staff start without customer-facing duties and gradually take on more responsibilities as they build confidence — full manuals exist for both hall and kitchen so there are no surprises. A 2-month training period (研修 kenshuu) at the same hourly rate is standard, though this may vary depending on how quickly you progress. Shifts run within the 09:00-23:00 window with a minimum of 3 hours and 1 day per week; the schedule is submitted weekly so you can adjust freely around school, childcare, or another job. A late-night supplement (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies from 22:00 onward, raising the effective rate to 1,375 yen or above. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at 30% of cost — ramen, gyoza, fried rice and more are all on the menu. Hair colour and style are free; nail art and piercings are not permitted during shifts.
