Job Description:

This is a hotel room cleaning and bed-making role at Asano Hotel in Kokura, Kitakyushu, just 5 minutes walk from Kokura Station and operated by Kokura Kosan Co., Ltd. Duties include bed-making, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and resetting room amenities — each staff member handles around 6-7 rooms per shift. A dedicated training supervisor stays alongside you for approximately 3-4 shifts to ensure you are comfortable before working independently, and there is no direct customer interaction, making this ideal for those who prefer back-of-house work. The shift runs 09:30-14:00 with no overtime, finishing at lunchtime so your afternoons are completely free. The workforce is primarily in their 30s-60s — many are homemakers and returning workers — and shift flexibility is emphasised, including the ability to take extended breaks when needed.
