Job Description:
Hall and kitchen work at Okonomiyaki Kaede, a long-standing local restaurant loved in Hiroshima for over 20 years. The morning shift covers opening preparation such as hanging the noren and wiping down the teppan, taking orders, carrying okonomiyaki to tables and helping with cooking prep. There is no grilling work, so the cooking side stays simple. An afternoon shift from 18:00 to 22:30 is also available, which adds drink making and closing cleanup. Many homemakers work the morning slot and staff are close in age, so it is an easy place to settle into. Shifts start from 1 day a week and under 4 hours a day, requested days off are always granted, and sudden changes for family reasons are accommodated. Free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided, sometimes okonomiyaki and sometimes other dishes. Interviews can be held as soon as the day after applying, with an immediate start possible.
Wage:
1,300円 (per hour)
High school students are paid 1,100円 per hour. Perfect attendance allowance is provided. Year-end and New Year allowance applies from 28 December to 8 January, with 1 and 2 January closed. Pay raises available.
